How to reactivate roaming number from the Philippines

Filipinos are family oriented people, we need to keep in touch to our loved ones back home. We used to message our family through text messages years back, but then through the advancement of technology, communication becomes easy and instant. We can send messages through emails, messenger, video calling, voice messaging and many more.

The presence of internet, wireless communications, contactless transactions especially financial transactions and banking, bills payment and many to mention, which needs a verification code brings back the roaming number essence to our everyday life. In addition, COVID 19 makes everything becomes online, from shopping, booking transportation, paying bills, online classes, telemedecine becomes a trend worldwide.

Living in Saudi Arabia, while managing your finances in the Philippines is a hassle if you don”t have a roaming which can receive an OTP or One Time Password, a secure pin code sent via SMS when you buy online, pay bills or any banking transactions, registering to G-cash, Maya , and other mobile apps.

Steps to reactivate roaming number with out signal

1. Open the settings of your phone

2. Click Connection

3. Lacate and click Mobile Networks

4. Click Network Operators

5. Click Select Automatically

6. It will select automatically the provider where your sim card was first register.

Tip: Once in a while try to recharge your number 100 pesos at least every 3 months.

Note: Be sure that there is signal in your area

To check if there is signal try to check the balance of your roaming number..

Smart text 1515 and send to 214 via message or *214# press call

Globe txt BAL and send to 222 or dial *143# press call

Now you can use it to register to G cash, Maya, online banking like PNB and other banks.
