How to apply for Saudi Council for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensure

Saudi Council for Health Specialty certification/license is given to qualified health care practitioner, local or expats after a series of professional assessment from professional classification and after passing the specified exams to a specific profession and applying for registration.

According to the official site of Saudi Council for Health Specialties, the council was established in 1992, an independent scientific body to supervise the health sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a goal is to achieve a healthy society through qualified health practitioners, one of the founders was Dr. Faleh Al-Falih. King Fahd bin Abdulaziz approved the regulation of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties on 6-2-1413 AH.

How to Apply to Mumaris Plus for the first time?

If you are a nurse, doctor, dentist, laboratory technician/Medical technologist, midwife, respiratory therapist, physical therapist applying the licensure for the first time here are the requirements:

• Saudi Iqama if you are in the kingdom. 
• Data flow report verification of school credentials, PRC & employment.
• Updated passport 
• Passport size photo
• Updated PRC card
• Certificate of employment without working gap or working gap not more than 1 year

Note: If you are foreigner and signing up outside Iqama/ resident ID is not required

Steps to  register to mumaris plus

• Complete the requirements above
• Apply for Professional Classification by:
  • Sign up to  Mumaris+ . Fill out your personal details.
  • Apply for Classification Service.
  • Accept the Disclaimer and Fill out all necessary information.
    1. Upload all documents needed  (If in the process some needed documents were not ready, click save and continue later on the right lower page.)
    2. Click Continue on each page and submit on the last page.
  • Note: There are instances that you can not find your qualification or the name of the school is not in the list.
  • You should apply for other service which is QUALIFICATION STUDY.
• Generate payment, You may choose to pay the necessary fees by credit card or SADAD payment.
• Classification payment is 200 SR. 
• An email of confirmation that they received your application will be sent to your verified email account, takes 4-5 business  working days, some may take hours after submitting during weekdays.
• A reply to pay for another 900 SR for the eligibility number for Prometric exam will be sent via your email. 
• Generate payment via credit card or SADAD payment.
  1. Proceed with the application for the Examination.
  2. Book for exam on the nearest testing Center
  3. Pay 289 dollars to sit for the Prometric Exam.
  4. Pay testing center fees via credit card.
  5. Sit for an exam on the specified date and time of booking
• Wait for the examination results, email will be sent to your email from Saudi council
• If pass, proceed to apply for professional registration
  1. Pay the  necessary fees via credit card or SADAD payment
  2. After payment your registration certificate will be generated and can be downloaded in your mumaris plus account.
• CONGRATULATIONS your’re now certified to work as health care practitioner in the KIngdom of Saudi Arabia
