Saudi Council for Health Specialties Mumaris E- Services

A government body in Saudi Arabia regulating health practitioner’s professionals, to ensure that citizens in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia will receive a safe and quality health care. As technology progress, we are now in the digital age where the use of computers and the internet is a trend. The kingdom also started Telemedicine, telehealth, tele- education and most working remote. Electronic health records are widely used in most of the hospitals in the kingdom, renewal of licenses are all systems based and some of the seminars, conferences are delivered via zoom.

Professional Classification

When arriving for the first time in Saudi Arabia a health professional should apply for classification by signing up to Mumaris+. You need to prepare some documents:

• Resident Id or IQAMA
• Passport
• Passport size Id
• PRC card updated
• Diploma, Certificate, Transcipt of Records
• Certificate of Employment
• Dataflow Verification of School documents, PRC card and COE
• Payment 200 SR
• Wait for approval

How to apply for SCFHS, Saudi Council for Health Specialties.

Professional Registration

Once approved for classification, a practitioner should apply for Professional Registration, Get an eligibility number for the booking schedule for Prometric exam, sit an exam. https://scfhs.org.sa/en/Mumares/SPLE/DATES you can copy this url or click the underlined link for available exam dates. You can also apply for registration if you exit in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and your license is expired more than 1 year, not exceeding 2 years, provided there is no gap of employment for more than 2 years. All the updated documents will require a dataflow verification like PRC and Certificate of employment. You don’t need to take the exam case to case basis.

Note: The test opportunities may be repeated after one year from the date of the first attempt in case of failure to pass.

Professional Re-registration

This is a renewal after your license has been expired. You can enter the service 3 months before the expiry of your registration. Refer to the previous article click the link below for a detailed step by step tuition.

Professional Re-Classification

Professional re-classification is intended for practitioner who exit in the Kingdom, Saudi council license was expired more than 2 years especially for the nursing Technician. You will need your updated IQAMA, updated PASSPORT, PRC license, dataflow verification of updated documents, Certificate of Employment, upload all needed documents, pays the fees (200 SR) and wait for the reply of SCFHS. After assessing your documents SCFHS will send an email to pay for 900 SR to complete your Classification. An eligibility number will be sent to you and you can now book for the SLNE

Recognition of CPD Hours

This service is for practitioner’s who obtain a CME units from conferences, seminars and courses abroad. To be credited on your MUMARIS plus account, you should upload a copy of the certificate and pay 100 SR, wait for SCFHS decision if they will accept or reject.

Certificate of good Standing

The certificate of good standing is given to practitioner who request for the purpose of applying to other countries. They will give you a certificate confirmation that you are not involved in any malpractice, the issue date of your first registration and expiry.

Personal Information Modification

This service allows you to update your personal information.

These are the services mostly used and needed by expat health practitioners. Other services which are not included are for SAUDI national only.
