I am not connected whatsoever, nor employed by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties. Any update after this post is not my control, as the use of information s on this site is solely your responsibility.

I have nurse technician expired 2021.now im here in india. Can i upgrade to nurse specialist without taking the exam
Hi Kumar, good day for reclassification from Technician to nursing specialist, you must sit for the exam. Good luck
The purpose of this blog is very noble as you want to help your fellow nurses. If nurses in Saudi Arabia follow these instructions clearly, I have no doubt that they will succeed. But I have a question: is it difficult to renew your nurse license when you are in Saudi Arabia. And is it also applicable to foreign nurses working in Saudi Arabia?
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, it is applicable to foreign health professionals, not for nurses alone, a bit difficult if you went for an exit to your country and come back again to work as a nurse and other health professions. Previously it is much easier, as technology advances, the introduction of new platforms becomes difficult for health professionals who are not familiar to use and navigate the system platform. The goal of this website is to educate them to use and navigate the platform to be able to process their own documents without assistance.
Renewing your licence to work as a nurse in Saudi Arabia, as well as applying for reclassification if you are a health professional, seems to be quite a complicated process. Your post is a great guide and help for those that work in the health sector.
What would be the position for somebody that didn’t do their training in Saudi Arabia? Can someone that qualified in South Africa as a paramedic also use Mumaris to be reclassified? Thank you.
In the Mumaris plus platform, if you intend to work here as a healthcare professional, you can apply for an e- service called Qualification study, this can be initiated, whether you are outside or inside the kingdom, You should sign up with your personal details and upload documents required in the system. But if your qualification is found on the classification services, you may directly proceed to classification. The Saudi Commission for Health specialties will assess your documents and reply via email if you are accepted or rejected. Thank you for the follow up question, I may write an article how to apply qualification study on my next blog.
Good day.. my mumaris was rejected due to my CoE lack of experience. Can I ask if I appeal will be my mumaris will ok? Thank you hope somebody can answer

This is a great how-to guide for anyone wanting to apply for Reclassification to Mumaris Plus SCFHS. The guide is clear, concise, and easy to follow.
Thanks for the helpful tips! Applying for reclassification to Mumaris Plus SCFHS. This is a great guide on how to apply for Reclassification to Mumaris Plus SCFHS. I’m sure it will be very helpful to those who are looking to make the switch.
Thank you for your feedback, the ultimate goal is to help expat health professionals.
Probably one of the things I hate doing is renewing government-related paperwork like this because some guides are pretty unhelpful. Thanks for making this one concise and step-by-step on how to apply for reclassficiation to Mumaris Plus SCFHS for fellow Filipinos! I hope they find this helpful as much as I did! Mabuhay sa lahat ng masisipag na Pinoy! 🎊
Appreciate your feedback, that’s very true, this niche is launched not only for Filipinos but to all healthcare professionals here in Saudi Arabia, no exemption to locals. Locals same as expats find it difficult to renew, even to apply on this platform. The requirements and policies were not explained well, the system is not user friendly. Aside from continuing medical education units, dataflow verification adds to the financial burden of the expatriates working here in the kingdom. Previously, it’s easy to renew licenses here, after COVID 19, they update the system. I was thinking that unfamiliarity with the new system is the reason why some applications were rejected, hope I can help them with this article. Thank Kimmy, Good luck & God bless.
I was applying for reclassification 2x i was rejected even my recent work experience is related to nursing as school nurse and validated and verified by the dataflow however they rejected and I dont know why because they did not send me any reason why is it rejected, any advise from my own situation?

I had my application with the agency in the Phillipines, my saudi council was registered as nurse technician. Now the agency said that the embassy do not accept nurse technician anymore. So is it true that I need to re-classify to nurse specialist in order to get my visa to work as a nurse in the kingdom? Is there a new guidelines regarding to this? Thank you.
There is new guidelines from the Saudi Embassy in the Philippines regarding deployment of nurses to the kingdom. At present, all agency having the same problem please update with your agency regarding this issue. The new guidelines were released last Nov. 4, uodated on Nov. 16 & still they are asking nurses to be registered before deployment. In regards with technician & specialist please update with your agency. At the moment I can not really answer you, we can’t control how the Saudi embassy are thinking. We pray that all issues regarding deployment will be settled sooner. Thank you for reaching us.
Same thing explained by my agency but i dont know where to start and how to process reclassification. I have only 2 weeks in saudi. It is easy to process while im here or when in philippines?
Hi good day, please message me in my Whatsapp +966509910763 to guide you before you went back to Philippines. It is better here to process, please do.
plz help me how to update my classification ..my classifcation is expired in mumaris plus..whta is the procedure
Hi , is this steps applicable outside Saudi Arabia ( currently here in Philippines)? The agency told me to retake the exam because my Saudi council was expired 2 years ago .
Hi Diana, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it is applicable to applicants outside the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Just follow the steps. I can guide you during the process, you may message us at our WhatsApp account +966509910763, we are always happy to assist you. Good luck.
Good day! I went exit from the kingdom last October 2022. I have a new application and everything went smoothly except for the fact the I have a nurse technician license. My license is still valid. Do you have any idea if I can have a visa to work in the kingdom without applying for a re-classification to nurse specialist? Thank you! I would really appreciate your response.
Yes, you can work here in Saudi Arabia with a technician license. You can reclassify as a specialist if your employer requires you after deployment. In some cases, like in some Tertiary Hospitals, they require nurses to have a specialist classification before deployment in that case you should reclassify as a specialist before coming to KSA. If you need more info you may message us on our WhatsApp account +966509910763. Thank you for reaching us, good luck.
Hi nevalyn, I have the same issue with you. Did you take the exam again before coming back to KSA? My saudi council is still valid until 2024 however I have a job offer with a nurse specialist visa. What should I do?
What did you do po? Take exam in philippines for specialist or in saudi ?
We can process you anywhere regardless of your location if you are applying as a healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia. We have clients from Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Africa, Pakistan, Inia, Indonesia and many to mention. If you need more clarification just reach as at WhatsApp +966509910763.
According to my agency, they are no longer accepting technician license. I applied for reclassification and got my eligibility number then I booked for the exam. I paid around 16k php since i did not wait for the employer to pay for my exam. Now, waiting for the exam result. Only then the agency will submit my papers for visa stamping
It is not always the case, some employers still accept nursing technician, others allow their applicants to be deployed after classification & eligibility number issuance. If you need further information you can reach us, direct message our whatsapp +96650991076, we can explain it further how it is done.
According to my experience, the Saudi embassy here in the Philippines does not accept nurses without taking the exam first. As we have previously known, nurses can be deployed upon issuance of the eligibility number but recently they are requiring all applicants to take and pass the prometric exam for nurses before visa stamping.
Good day! My agency tried to suit my documents at the Saudi Embassy here in the Philippines and it was rejected. I applied for reclassification and got my eligibility number. The agency tried to submit the documents again with my eligibility number and still it was rejected. They are asking for a nurse specialist license. So I took the exam and I am waiting for the result.
Hi, good day, thank you for reaching us. The exam result will take 3 weeks to 1 month. Saudi council will send the result through your registered email, likewise you can check it in your mumaris account under EXAM option. Good luck
In professional reclassification, can i use my saudi coe? or they only accept coe outside ksa?
Hi, Jeremiah, definitely you can use all the COE that you have regardless of where it is located. The difference is that COE from outside the kingdom should be verified by the dataflow group, whereas COE from KSA may not, depending on your employer if they will request you to verify it. Otherwise in my experience, Saudi Council will do its independent verification of COE’s from KSA during your application process. Hope it helps. Good luck..
Yes, definitely all COE regardless of location can be used for reclassification. The difference usually Saudi council will not ask a dataflow if your COE is from Saudi arabia, the employer may ask depending on the HR department. COE from outside the kingdom always requires a dataflow for reclassification. However, there are instances that they don’t. Good luck
I am currently doing my reclassification to retake the exam to upgrade my nursing tech to nursing specialist. Im on application details already. What should i choose between to “upgrade my rank based on work experience or to “modify professional group or specialty”? Below it asked also there if i have taken my registration and classification exam before. So should i choose “yes” and insert my prometric result eligibility id before? Or should i just choose no and proceed to next step?
Just put modify professional group, put no on the eligibilty and proceed, put I have new qualification and put bachelors degree, then proceed and submit.
I can’t find my eligibility number and can’t apply for retake now what should I do
Thank you for contacting us. Please give us detailed information of your application status.
Just want to ask. I have more than 2 yrs of gap. I have expired saudi council nursing tech. Since i cant renew it, will my employer be able to renew it once i am in saudi or should i retake the exam?
Good day, thank you for reaching us. If your license was expired for more than a year and you are out of Saudi Arabia you should apply for reclassification. In regards with gap of experience, you should have at least 2 years recent experience before applying for reclassification, which means you will retake the Prometric exam. On November 2022, new guidelines were released by the Saudi Embassy regarding deployment of healthcare professionals, refer to your agency about the requirements for visa stamping.

Hi, I have a query. I left Saudi Arabia 9 years now and didn’t renew my Saudi council. I am working in the Philippines and now there is an offer for me and I’m planning to go back. Do I have to take again Prometric exam?
Yes, you should apply for reclassification and retake the Prometric exam, according to your classification which will be approved by the Saudi Council.
I am currently doing my reclassification to retake the exam to since my license already expired for more than 2 years and want to upgrade to nursing specialist. Im on application details already under reclassification. What should i choose between to “upgrade my rank based on work experience or to “modify professional group or specialty”? And also it asked me my eligibility id, do i need to submit my expired prometric result?
Hi, modify professional group or specialty, just put no to eligibility number. You can reach me at my WhatsApp for further clarification 00966509910763. Good luck.
Good day! Do you think Ramadan affected the issuance of the result of prometric exam? It has been more than a month and still no result published.
Just be patient, during Ramadan office hours are shortened to 6 hours. You may raise a ticket to WASASUL regarding your concern. Good luck

I’ve managed to speak with operator in Mumaris but facing another issue
I have to apply for the new candidate, and need to find if my university is on the SCFHS list but when I click that it says ‘Page not found’ , but if I can’t verify my university I can’t proceed my process and my application will be rejected, right? 🙁
You can not submit it either, however you can restart the application if not submitted and paid. If you are facing these issues repeatedly you may raise a ticket to TAWASUL,https://scfhs.org.sa/en/tawasul. wish you luck.
and another thing. sorry
can I get a refund for being rejected
I read the official website but it seems quite confusing to me
My application was rejected about 10 days ago, that means I can get a refund
or once it’s rejected , I can’t
thank you so so much
Hi, thank you for reaching. Once rejected in my 10 years experience processing Saudi license, they never grant a refund in any service. This is my honest experience so far.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENT
Hi, good day everyone, do anyone happen to know if I can renew my nurse technician while I am still processing my re-classification application to nurse specialist?
Good day Tina, a safe advise is to renew first your nurse technician license before processing your nursing specialist reclassification. If you submitted your reclassification, they will notify you that you have existing service for reclassification. How ever, if you are willing to risk your 160 SR you can submit your renewal for technician and find out, sometimes if you have luck they will renew in a very rare case, nevertheless no assurance for this. Good luck…
Good day po, sana matulungan nyu po ako. Yung nurse technician license ko po nag expired last march 2023 and na hire po ako ng isang government hospital sa saudi, now po asa pinas pa ako. Kailangan ko po mag nurse specialist. May flight to saudi will on june 6,2023..sana matulungan nyu po ako. Salamat
Hi good day, Please message us directly at our whatsapp number +966509910763. We will happy to assist you all the way to nurse specialist.
Hi! I am just confused with regards to the saying that there is a policy from embassy requiring all nurses to become specialist. But in fact there are some agency who were able to deploy nurses as nurse technician.
Hi, good day. It depends on the visa issued by the MOFA as per request by your employer, there is always exceptions to the rule. Don’t confuse with the Saudi embassy policy. Check with your agency and employer, don’t believe on hearsay, investigate facts and the reason behind it. Hope it helps.
I have nurse technician expired 2021.now im here in india. Can i upgrade to nurse specialist without taking the exam
Hi I had saudi registration in 2012 as registrar. I had left KSA I’m 2015 and now working in UK for last 7 years. My status indicates I m.classified as registrar but no licence. I intend to reclassify and get licence again. Please guide this new ways and do I have to reappear in prometric exam for reclassification?
Yes, you should apply for reclassification service.
Hi, I just received my reclassification application and it was rejected. I worked in Saudi before then went to UK, now I am applying to go back, i have done dataflow.
What is the next step?
Thank you
Hi, good day, please message me at WhatsApp for more details.
Hello, ive applied in saudi as a nurse. The agency told me that prometric exam will be done in saudi while some agency said that need prometric need to be passed before deployment.
Hi KC, yes, that depends on the agency and employer. If they said so, that’s great if they allow you to be deployed without Prometric. Good luck
Hi. I just want to know if I need to take an exam again since I didn’t able to renew my license within 2 years but I am actively working here in Saudi. Or is there any way to renew it? I hope you can help. Thank you.

Hello, I am a physician (consultant) with European training and certification. I have 20 years of experience, but since 13 months I am on voluntary (prfessional) leave, looking for a new professional horizon, where I have done a 4 weeks Locum at KSA (without SCFHS accreditation).
Can I apply and register for the exam while I am in a professional gap (besides the Locum done)?
Thanks for sharing. Appreciate
Good day in this case you may login in your mumaris account and raise a ticket to TAWASUL for a more detailed reply. Thank you
